spamming after I purchased item from auction house

Hey all - I recently bought an expensive mount from my realms auction house with my gold. (the gold and mount are all legitimate). Within an hour or so I started getting random whispers to visit false WoW sites and what not. Aside from the spamming, do I need to be concerned about account security? I have all privacy and settings for WoW set up on my account. Just wondering how concerned I should be. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Do you have an authenticator? As far as I know, you can't sell duped items on the AH, so you should be safe. As long as you're using all of your security measures.

It may be that the mount was actually being sold by a gold seller (maybe through a hacked account), to find people willing to spend large amounts of gold, so they can find a 'target audience' more easily.
