Aggathon's Rage Bar Ep 10 - Agg Needs Some 'Console'ing

This week on Aggathon's Rage Bar: Can WoW be played on a console?

Here's my general button layout for the LFR I did in this episode:
    Prot:
    Start - Taunt
    Select - Jump
    PS Button - Shield Wall
    D Up - Rallying Cry
    D Down - Shield Slam
    D Left - Shield Barrier
    D Right - Last STand
    Left Stick - Movement
    Right Stick - Camera
    L3 - Charge/HT Macro
    R3 - Left Mouse Click
    L1 - Right Mouse Click
    L2 - Shift (Modifier)
    X - Revenge
    Circle - Shield Slam
    Square - Devastate
    Triangle - Shockwave
    R1 - Heroic Strike
    R2 - Pummel
    SHIFT(L2) + L3 - Heroic Leap
    SHIFT(L2) + X - Demo Shout
    SHIFT(L2) + Circle - Battle Shout
    SHIFT(L2) + Square - Thunderclap
    SHIFT(L2) + Triangle - Execute
    SHIFT(L2) + R1 - Cleave
    SHIFT(L2) + R2 - Disrupting Shout

    Fury:
    Start - Taunt
    Select - Jump
    D Up - Rallying Cry
    D Down - Wild Strike
    D Left - Whirlwind
D Right - Die By The Sword
    Left Stick - Movement
    Right Stick - Camera
    L3 - Charge/HT Macro
    R3 - Left Mouse Click
    L1 - Right Mouse Click
    L2 - Shift (Modifier)
    X - Colossus Smash
    Circle - Blood Thirst
    Square - Raging Blow
    Triangle - Dragon Roar
    R1 - Heroic Strike
    R2 - Pummel
    SHIFT(L2) + L3 - Heroic Leap
    SHIFT(L2) + X - Storm Bolt
    SHIFT(L2) + Circle - Battle Shout
    SHIFT(L2) + Square - Thunderclap
    SHIFT(L2) + Triangle - Execute
    SHIFT(L2) + R1 - Cleave
    SHIFT(L2) + R2 - Disrupting Shout

I probably could have bound more things, but this was sort of a "proof of concept". What did you all think? Was I holding my own, could I have done better with better muscle memory? Could WoW really come to the console?

Hunters, Just get a Sporebat, most LFRs will be missing that buff.

Yeah... in retrospect I should have gone through and split the audio around the warnings and dampened them... but I was doing this at like 3am and just wanted to get it done and go to bed.

Just a USB cable and a program called MotionJoy.

Be careful, when you install MotionJoy and are downloading all the stuff. The software for motionjoy itself is fine and malware free and all that good stuff, but the download is from one of those free download sites that has all kinds of ads that say "DOWNLOAD!!!" but it's really the download for whatever crap the ad is peddling, not the MotionJoy software.

I think the biggest hindrance to WoW on Console would be mouse control. Whether it's abilities you have to place or things in fight that need to be clicked on. Other than that, movement and keybinds would all be just a matter of proper muscle memory imo.

Last time I was playing with it, I had right analog stick controlling cursor movement and the r3 (right stick click in) as my click ... though I used up all my L1-R2 shoulder buttons binding them to modifiers to get the rest of my binds on the gamepad
