    Profession Advice

Surprised there aren't any dedicated profession forums.

My main is a BS. Any advice on what parts I can completely ignore and which parts are definites? I'd hate to spend time grinding rep for some pattern only to find out that there's a better pattern since 5.2. And to be honest, there are SO many factions and pattern vendors in this xpac that I can't wade through it all on my own -- at least in the limited time I'm willing to devote to it.

Also same question could apply to enchanting and jewelcrafting as my 80 is now Zen trained.

    Thanks!

BS get their Tier 14 entry patterns from Klaxxi, Enchanters are from Shado-Pan, and JC get theirs from Order of the Cloud serpent, of all the enchanting ones are the only ones that aren't vanity or antiquated now.

The BS patterns are learned by buying them from vendors.

450 blues from BS vendor in the Shrine for Spirit of Harmony
458 PvP from crafting Lighting Steel Ingots
    463 blues from Klaxxi
    476 epics from Klaxxi
    496 epics from raid loot
522 epics from crafting Lightning Steel Ingots

Juwelcrafting recipes are discovered by crafting an item using three of the specific coloured raw gems.

Leatherworking has reputation reward patterns from Golden Lotus and (I think) August Celestials. Not sure how they learn the 522 stuff.
