Problems with Sony Vegas
Hello everyone! Well I'm having an ongoing problem with editing my footage.
I capture with the bought Fraps at 1080p full screen 30 FPS. My raw footage looks flawless and amazing.
As soon as I import my Fraps footage and render out in the best youtube quality with My trial version of Sony Vegas Movie Studio 12 I get a HUGE quality loss.
I originally started with my old Adobe Premiere Elements 9 and kept getting the same Issue so I decided to try it in a trial version of Sony Vegas before I bought the program.
Ive made sure everything is correct in not only my project settings but also my render out settings and i get a crazy quality loss.

I feel like I'm the only one getting this problem and would love some feedback.
Thanks

Render with the following settings:
Frame rate: 30 FPS
Project Resolution: 1920*1080 (1080p)
Interlace: None
Video bitrate: 6,000,000 bits per second (6Mb/s)
Audio bitrate: 192,000 bits per second (192 kb/s)
Format: .mp4
Codec: Sony AAC .mp4
Give newly uploaded videos a day or two to get the 1080p/original setting processed, sometimes it takes a while for youtube to get it running.

Ill give it a try and get back to you

I dont know if this is because of A trial version. ill also try with Abobe
*edit also would like to note that the quality loss is not from uploading to youtube but the actual file after done exporting out of Sony Vegas is bad quality

Same results as before
Could it be something with me bringing in the files? I have tried both dragging in and using the "get media" feature.
It seems to me that I get the quality loss from bringing in the files. when I watch it in Adobe I already notice a quality loss? is this possible and how do I fix?
These were the closest I could get to your Settings.

would also like to note that I have read and confermed on the Adobe forums that Fraps footage does not like Elements that's why I wanted to try Vegas
If I could upload my raw footage to youtube quickly I would so you could do a side by side. but its like almost night and day difference but as you know raw fraps footage is huge.

Have you gone into the project properties and made sure it is set to 1080p/30fps/progressive scan (should be a button above the preview window)?

Yes I have (I cant change to exactly 30 fps) but I don't think that .030 fps would make the quality this bad
