it's nice to have it confirmed, but if we're told 1 or 2 days in advance really doesnt make much of a diffrence.
In an unexpected (yet very welcome!) turn of events, Blizzard has actually contacted us to let us know that Patch 5.1 will be releasing tomorrow (11/27) on North American servers! European servers can expect the update on Wednesday, as per usual.
As a reminder, Patch 5.1 includes:
- Item upgrade system (via Valor, Conquest, etc)
- Brawler's Guild
- Account-wide reputation gain increases (purchaseable at Revered)
- The beginning of the Pandaren Campaign (new quest area in Krasarang)
- More stuff I'm forgetting at the moment I'm sure
Now's a great time to cap out your Valor if you haven't already!

Unfortunately, no mention of VP gear upgrades in the official notes
Looking at the patch notes and the WoW site... not a thing mentioned about 5.1 it says 5.0.5b. Bad info or did someone goof?
Well if they directly contacted fan sites with the info I'd say it's pretty reliable.

Yeah patch finished and launched. Version stated is 5.1 but it SUCKS that there isn't any current patch notes... Everything i see is from Nov 2nd or 8th, but nothing on the bliz site itself..... /shrug we'll see in a couple hrs.
I can't seem to find any info about 5.1 hitting all i can get is 5.0.5b that also seems to be what my launcher is downloading and what the patch notes in the launcher describe. I'm bummed was looking forward to 5.1
Well i can't edit my post but wanted to add the launcher finished the download and although there is no new patch notes the version is listed as 5.1 just waiting for it to be playable so i can check.. So confuzzeled
Patch Notes are out, but the QQ on the forums is the better read.
