Warrior tanking

Hey guys.

I have some questions about warrior tanking atm.
I just came back after a break. I tryed to read up on tanking again and i kepts getting mixed signals about the stats prio. some guids say you need to stack stamina, some say that u need to stack stamina as much as u can take a few hits from the boss, and others say that i should stack hit and exp. What should i do ? what should i go for ? and is there defrent ways to do this like a survival and a "dps" "controle" way ?

At current gear levels, the value of expertise and hit is basically > all, in order to keep your active mitigation rolling by means of every possibly rage generating attack landing. Whether that remains the case in higher tiers and gear levels, we won't know. Basically, hit 7.5% > expertise 15% > mastery > parry > dodge, and generally some hybrid stam gems[deleted]. Stam still does have a lot of value but it's more on par with other stats than in previous expansions. Read the guide though.

Where's this "At least one stam trinket" idea coming from? my experience is that most fights you don't need stam. Granted theres not exactly a lot of trinket choices without stam, but you don't need at least 1 stam trinket.
