Sha of Anger loot Fact or Fiction

Straight to it. Is the loot you receive from Sha of Anger not only based on your class, but also your spec when fighting him.

I got a piece of frost spec gear off him when I was blood. Maybe it has something to do with the role you pick in the raid also because I picked dps not sure.

If it was expertise or hit/mastery, it's both DPS and tank loot. There is also a slight delay for boss encounters to pick up on spec changes it seems, as I have had Gara'jal Voodoo Doll me rather than a healer on occasion, which was a nice surpirse and a welcome relief for our healers (on one of these occasions the healer outside had already been dolled 4 times in a row and was running on mana fumes for 15 seconds)

I got DPS T14 legs while in prot spec from Sha, I put a ticket in and the GM said world bosses drops are only based on class not spec.

Guess it's a good thing the dps legs are better for prot at this point than the prot legs.......

True, the only reason I wanted the prot ones was for the set bonus.
