Jumpto tag

I've tried this tag several times, seems to never work. I use it in conjugation with aname, still fails. Anyone care to comment?

Its included in tankspot's list of BBcodes, or was it broke when the site shifted to BV4?

i know it used to work when darksend would write guides, so good catch. I'll let the devs know about it and see if there's a bug or disablement that happened due to the vb upgrade.

No problem, the jumpto's all redirect to the website's root (front page). It maybe possible to code a jumpto to a post, but not an aname, which kinda defeats the purpose.

Also while I have your attention. When say, copy a link from your address bar, and paste it into a post. You get something this http://www.randomwebsite.com/ which is kinda annoying

I am not attempting to continue the link but this has to be a bug. The only work around is to switch the editor to source mode.

FWIW, I noticed this exact problem around the time we opened up the new guild recruitment forum, which would also coincide with the prema-links for articles.

I know that one was custom code that we made a while back, so the vb update a few months back trashed a lot of the custom coding. We'll work on it, and keep the tickets coming.
