100 strength grants you 27 parry rating. It does not change the amount of damage reduction from a block.

Does Strength still attribute to parry and a percentage of what can be blocked using a shield?

On a similar note, agi no longer gives dodge or armor either (at least for prot warriors).

There are no "noob questions" only the decison to remain wilfully ignorant. the only time strength or parry will interact will be if your totally CTC (block, parry, dodge miss) total over 102.4% in which case you will only get 102.4% -(parry+dodge+5%) chance to block.

If a player parries an enemy's attack, their swing timer is hasted for the next melee swing.
