hmmmm, ok, cause i have the heroic soulshifter, but i'm still toting a LFR Indomitable.

Indom + Soulshifter has been the trink to use for a while. Now it basically acts as a big a rage generator CD (that you dont have much control of.)
*I'm referring to Heroic version*
It appears Enrage is no longer giving us any additional rage from abilities.

That was removed some time ago on beta, it never made it onto live.

We get 10 rage everytime we enrage. You ought to read your spell book sometime.
its a very big part of our RPS.
Not to mention Enraged Regeneration doesn't cost any rage while you are enraged. Normally it costs 60 rage.
I'm not sure I follow...

Having to wait for a random enage or put off my 10 rage CD is just as bad for me.

So I tanked 5/8 Heroic DS on my warrior last night and it was the first time tanking on it since the patch and I can't say I'm liking the new rage paradigm. I spent most of the time building rage just to horde to for when I needed a defensive cooldown. 60 rage for a Shield Block is expensive. Since I haven't tanked on my warrior post patch I haven't been following this thread; has anyone given thought to stance dancing for rage durring low damage portions of fights, or is it just not worth it?
It's not worth it.
>>>KNAPKIN MATHS BEWARE<<<
Neither Shield Slam, nor Revenge generate rage outside defensive stance. you get 3.5RPS baseline from white swings in Battle stance, if we assume a 10% melee haste buff that will go up to 3.9rps. rage from Critical blocks , Shouts, and zerker rage will all be equal. assuming No SnB procs SS every 6 seconds is worth 3.33rps, assuming no revenge procs it has a 9second cd so is worth 1.66rps and you also have the Defensive stance passive giving you 0.3rp, totalling 5.3rps.
Are you really struggling for rage?are you hit/expertise capped? are you stacking mastery? are you reacting to your procs in a timely manner? are you using you buff shouts nigh on CD? and zerker rage the same?

If you're speaking perhaps of the long periods in Yor'sahj where he's not attacking, I can see where you're coming from. Not parrying or critically blocking does reduce our rage gen quite a bit. Having your caps capped helps much as well. Have you checked Teng's guide?

Thanks, Teng. Yeah, I'm hit capped (with food buff) and exp soft capped. I haven't regemmed since I reached CTC so I'm a mix of Mastery; Stam/Mastery and Stam/Parry gems. With MoP dropping I probably won't go back to regem. I got more used to taking advantage of my SnB and Rev Procs as the fights went on; it still seemed that I spent most of my time monitoring rage then again it could be I'm just not used to it.
And yeah, Dread I was thinking of Skittles.
Here's my warrior, it's an alt I tank (if my DK is saved) with it on weekend runs with a guild I'm friendly with who usually needs a tank.

I wouldn't give rage a second thought TBH, just do your roation as best you can, try to keep SB up whenever you can, and then swap to Sbar whenever you're about to take a Spike attack like psychic drain or impale. you are gonna be kinda mana spongey with that gem setup, and without the expertise hardcap you are gonna have less rage than otherwise but meh.

Are you exp hard capped? How the hell did you get there?
Are you stacking Mastery?
