Mists of Pandaria Beta is Beginning!

Several members of the press, fansites, and (from the sounds of things) friends and family of Blizzard employees are finding a little surprise in their Battle.net account management:

Looks like MoP beta is about to get underway! As a reminder, our Mists of Pandaria discussion forums are up and running and are sure to be quite active once things start winding up. Expect plenty of beta coverage from us here at Tankspot as well!

A blue post yesterday indicated they'd have to stagger annual pass access through the beta period, given how wildly successful (one million in North America) it turned out to be. They indicated it would be based on some unspecified combination of how early you opted-in to the pass, and how long your warcraft account has been active.

You're not missing much yet anyhow; character copy and the install are available, but there's no servers to play on available yet.

As always though expect a lot to change, this is still very early on in the testing process so nothing is set in stone yet.
