I have a question about the Eternal Shadow Spirit Diamond; http://www.wowhead.com/item=52293. Specifically, how the 1% block is added into a Prot Pally's defense stats.

For example, my Pally with just gear is at 14.51 dodge; 14.97 parry and 67.53 block: so with 5% miss chance I'm at 102.01 - here's the question is the 1% block from the gem already in the block number or is that on top of the block number so I'm at 103.01% for CTC purposes?

I realize that 102.01 is so close to full CTC coverage that the 1% doesn't really mean crap, but I'm just curious.

Its blockvalue not blockchance. Meaning your blocks will stop 31% of the damage instead of 30%. Get that last 0,4% CTC
