When are the turning problems happening when the range are on him or off of him?
Okay so a few weeks back we were one shotting this guy. Now we're finding that he just won't turn for us, except for when we want him to go straight in which case he seems to instantly do a 180.

We originally ran with 4 ranged and 3 melee with the 4 ranged split between the legs applying constant pressure, one form each leg swapping to the fragments, and all 4 going over to the big add. with the melee swapping legs.

So what's going wrong?
When are the turning problems happening when the range are on him or off of him?

They seem to be able to occur during both times
Have you made changes to your melee roster recently? Because if the problem persists when the range were not and were on the boss then only common thread there is the melee.
If your melee are different, then maybe somebody is doing something different?

Indeed we have, we;ve recently lost our other tank, it's usually been me been me steering the melee so we've tried it with me tanking and a MM hunter helping to steer with 2 melee, and with me steering and one of the melee OS tanking it.
If you have somebody who hasn't done steering they might just very simply be hitting the wrong foot on accident at times. I know that right clicking isn't always accurate due to them being in motion a lot and tabbing can get you to an add now and then. I also know you can be positive you're doing it right, squint and then realize you're on the incorrect foot. So I would suggest simply trying to re-establish good communication. That and if you aren't already doing so, it can help to place markers on the feet (ex. blue on left, green on right).
Right not done this fight on hc but would macro's/target left foot/target right footHelp if targeting is the prob that is tell me to shush if i am talking crapIshamael
Grrr damn phone!!
We already mark the legs, and the problem is that he just whips round at some points, and at other's turns slower than a one wheeled shopping trolly. Makes it realy hard to steer as half the time, you'll call out Cross and he'll just inch over to the right, other times you'll call out cross and kaplow he swings 170 degrees.
Anyone care to look at the logs and see whats actually going on an i can't really see much amiss, and their has to be something pretty bad going on.
