I am just trying to build the best prot tank i can...i am taking on normal rag for first time tonight and once he is down moving onto heroics and want to know if i am on right track...i have the brewfest stam trink in my bag for stam but i have been going for the avoidance

Mostly fine, you could balance dodge and parry a bit more by reforging parry -> dodge or parry -> mastery whereas you did dodge -> mastery. You can also reforge away the Hit on some pieces for even more avoidance.
