Will This Work?

I'm planning on building a new computer since the one I have now is pretty old. I don't really know that much about computers, so I don't know if this is all compatible. Here is what I want to buy:

ThermalTake Soprano Mid-Tower Case
ThermalTake 430w TR2 ATX Power Supply
Intel Core i3-540 3.06GHz Processor
GeForce GT 440 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 graphics card
Asus ATX Motherboard 6Gbps
Some sort of cooling fan
Seagate Barracuda 500GB Internal Hard Drive
Corsair 4GB XMS CL 9 DDR3 DIMM Desktop Memory
This all costs about $725 including a 23" monitor.
Please tell me if this all works together.

What is the model number of the Motherboard? Also I don't see any ram listed. Couldn't hurt to make sure that the ram will work also given how many types of ram are out there.

unfortunately the CPU you listed will not work the Motherboard you listed. The Intel Core i3-2100 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz or the Intel Core i3-2120 Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz is the closest Operating Frequency to the Intel Core i3-540 Clarkdale 3.06GHz that will work with the motherboard you listed.

While any hard drive will work. You didn't list if it was SATA3 (also called SATA 6.0Gb) or not. I would recommend going for SATA3. Due being very similar in price to SATA2 drives.

From what spec you gave for the ram there shouldn't be any issues.
