    Gear Optimizer

Hi there. Now, my warrior is all getting better gear and it's going fast. But, I want to see what the best gear available to me is. So I need a good gear optimizer.

And before you all just say "Rawr", I'm using UNIX so Rawr doesn't work (I've tried).

Can you recommend any UNIX compatible software, or accurate website with gear filtering?

I've tried the following with various result:
    www.guildox.com
    www.wowhead.com
www.maxdps.com (which can't load from armory at the moment)

    Thanks in advance.

Askmrrobot is actually working quite well for it. Although, something annoys me a little. It says I have to reforge away from expertise to mastery. My expertise is pretty low as it is, and the gear it selects for me, doesn't have the expertise I need in it self.

    So can I trust it?

Do you really need the expertise though? Will hitting the boss one more time in every hundred attacks really have that much of a difference?

I reforged so I would have 3% more hit and 10 more expertise, I would be lying if I said I had noticed a difference. Reforged back, no issues.

i hear that's the new wisdom... with warriors vengeance making threat a non-issue after 10-20 seconds, and mastery going to block/crit-block. the levels of hit and exp, you have left over after reforging seem to be enough, unless you are on interrupt duty...(or possibly deep into HM raids)

i know with my pally (preraid only) it has helped ...
i had a pug run today with a healer with about 1/2 greens/pvp, one dps that consistently went for x (until i warned the group that if it continued they could find another tank) and another dps that dc'd consistently until kick voted ... finished no problem.

okay then. Just thought expertise was needed for avoiding parry attacks.

Non-Player-Characters (Mobs) do not Parry-Haste anymore.
