Good starting class for PVP

Was curious on general advise for starting a PVP career, what class, what things to bring before i enter a BG or arena grounds area.. tips or UI to use.

FOTM classes are gone in a matter of patches (see: Fury warrior), so you should just pick any class you want (unless it's a warlock, haha!) und stick to it. Do you want to play something with a pet, melee, ranged, healer? Do you want to be mobile, annoying, terrifying?
