Good Enough stats for raid???

Hey all,

Im kinda new to raiding so i just want to ask some stupid questions.

I have 30% block and about 12% parry and 12% dodge with 131k unbuffed HP.

Can anyone give me some advice on one tanking itself. Yes i have been doing this since my toon was lvl 31 but i wld like any advice anyway and
2 what kinda of stats i need to start getting into cata raids.

a) you should get your gear to heroic level (ilvl 346) on average and grab some reputation epics while running heroics
b) enchant your gear
c) get a proper specc, you have no decreased shieldwall talent and no raidwall - drop points from improved consecration for it, you don't need it for raiding
c) What stats are really needed might depend on your group, but unless you want to get carried..

11.82% dodge
11.98% parry
30.05% block

BiS Pre raid
139.500 hitpoints (+8.000)
57.40% reduced damage via armor (+1.04)
12.11% dodge (+0.29)
13.12% parry (+1.14)
56.41% block (+26.36!)

Forget everything except block, only minor changes.. but a 26% upgrade is huge - isn't it?

It sure is. Ive again reforged my gear and my stats are as follows

133.400 hitpoints
56.41% reduced damage via armor
12.59% dodge
11.52% parry
33.26% block

My major problem is that so many people that i heroic with dont know what they are doing and its cause of the DPS that we wipe. i rage quit that hard last night i went and played CSS.....

If you're having difficulty with PuGs then get a guild group going. If you're having difficulty with guildies that you are going to be raiding with, then a new guild might be in order
