When I meant more or less equal gear, I meant in regards to melee stats - dps, damage, crit rating etc.
Glady has much more Mastery and more armor while I have reforged away Parry/Dodge for Hit Rating.
That should really mean that I would take more damage than Glady and thus gain more Vengeance. Glady has 52% block while I have 38%.
Glady took 7244 DPS(e) damage in the fight, I took 5.9k DPS(e). Remember, though, that they actually killed Cho and went through that last phase probably taking a good bit more damage then me.
However, our fight lasted almost a minute longer than theirs so it would seem I did take generally less damage than Glady - which is a bit strange since my gear and configuration would indicate I should take more. Perhaps I used my defensive cooldowns more efficiently.
Perhaps Vengeance is the explanation...
Does this mean we should actually TRY to take lots of damage in order to do more dps? Stack loads of Stamina and less avoidance?
I mean - 2600 more dps is not insignificant...
