did a quick search for these vs the Ramkahen Exalted bracers, (http://www.wowhead.com/item=59470) Sandguard Bracers (http://www.wowhead.com/item=62449)
My thinking is Bracers of Impossible Strength have mastery and thus are better (As far as mitigation is concerned.)
So, wanted to check with you guys to double check my thinking.
edit: im failing at these Wowhead links.

[item]Bracers of Impossible Strength[/item]
176 Parry - 1% parry pre DR (adding in str)
127 Mastery Rating - 0.708 Mastery or 1.06% block and crit block
[item]Sandguard Bracers[/item]
225 dodge + parry (from str) - 1.273% dodge + parry pre DR
44 Mastery Rating (from reforging) - 0.2454 Mastery or 0.368% block and crit block
I use the dropped bracers for harder bosses and the rep bracers for fights that I might need threat and or are easy bosses that I can do more damage on.
The difference isn't game-breaking but I'd rate the Impossible Strength top because of the mastery.
Personally I have a set of both and use Impossible Strength for a more survival oriented set, and Sandguard for a threat set (reforged and enchanted differently).

It's really going to depend on your raid. Impossible Strength > Sandguard unless threat is an issue. If you have a good rotation and it's simply a matter of too much DPS, then Sandguard would help. But the same rule applies now as in wrath. Expertise and Hit are the least valuable components of threat. Rotation is #1. Making sure you prioritize your top threat abilities (SS with SB, SS, SW, Conc Blow, reapply rend after it falls off once vengence is fully stacked, etc) is probably going to be more valuable than the expertise on Sandguard.
It also depends on the type of threat - is it heroic AoE, first 10 seconds of a raid boss, etc. There might also be a fix there rather than giving up Impossible.
