I had a furry warrior... then I shaved. >.> <.<
But Fury of Angerforge is pretty wicked from what I've heard, and hit trinks are pretty awesome too as hit is so high. O.o
It has been a while since I furried though.![]()
I am curious as to the communities input on Fury Warrior trinket options. The main candidates I am looking at include:
License to Slay (http://www.wowhead.com/item=58180 321 hit & 38 str stacking up to 10 times)
Heart of Rage (http://www.wowhead.com/item=59224 321 exp & 1926 str proc for 20 secs)
Dark Moon Card: Hurricane (http://www.wowhead.com/item=62049 321 str & damage proc for 3750-6250 damage)
Fury of Angerforge (http://www.wowhead.com/item=59461 321 crit & 5 stacks of Raw Fury for on-use 1926 str for 20 secs)
Crushing Weight (http://www.wowhead.com/item=59506 321 str & 1926 haste proc for 15 secs)
I suppose we could also include this one for more consideration after 4.06:
Impatience of Youth (http://www.wowhead.com/item=62464 321 mastery & 1605 str on-use for 20 secs)
Personally I am looking at using the following:
- Current release - License to Slay & either Heart of Rage or Dark Moon Hurricane.
- I have Crushing Weight on right now but the proc is bad and I want to replace it. I have heard Fury of Angerforge stack generation is too buggy but may also become a viable choice after 4.06
- 4.06 release - Heart of Range & either Dark Moon Hurricane or Fury of Angerforge
- Hit can supposedly be cut back to 8% viably
Suggestions?

U can never have too much furry
currently fury of angerforge stacking is really slow right now but they are fixing the stacking so after patch fury and heart of rage will be bis combo.
from what i keep seeing dmc hurricane proc isn't worth it.

So as of right now I have:
I am thinking License to Slay & Heart of Rage right now and then switch License to Slay out for Fury of Angerforge after patch to 4.06?
- License to Slay
- Heart of Rage
- Fury of Angerforge
- Dark Moon Card Hurricane (yet to be turned in)
- Crushing Weight
I was under the impression that the Darkmoon card didn't have an internal cooldown, making it possible for double procs and quite awesome?
If so, then i can easilly see it being one of the stronger cards provided you got the hit rating and possibly haste, to back up alot of hits.
Brief update,
Definitely happy with the combination of Heart of Rage with Fury of Angerforge post 4.06 patch. The biggest letdown is the dragonkin form you take is retarded looking, should have been much cooler lol.
Rage generation with very low hit works fine in current patch, only 8% hit required although I sit at just below 10% due to hit coming on my gear anyway. HS nerf combined with buffing other abilities such as RB and stats like Mastery make it definitely worthwhile to stop inflating hit to try to spam HS and instead focus on good main ability use and slam proc usage. HS is purely a rage dump for me at this point and generally only used when 65+ rage.
License to Slay, Crushing Weight, Dark Moon Card Hurricane and Impatience of Youth have all been relegated to my bank where I expect they will remain for the foreseeable future.
thanks for keeping this up to date Squirrel, let me know if you want me to correct your uhh... furry fiasco...
I suppose it might help people that search the forum (if anyone actually uses that feature... kinda doubt it) might as well fix it even though every one loves a good furry
I'm abit interested in the DMC: Hurricane.
I don't have the trinket myself so i can't test it, but does it have an internal cooldown?
I remember reading some early reports about procs happening quite often, as if it didn't have a fixed PPM.
I've been wondering how the Alchemy stone compares to the trinkets mentioned in the first post. Most of the mentioned trinkets have a static amount of a green stat and a proc or on-use effect of str. The Volatile Alchemist Stone on the other hand, has 301 str, plus a red socket with +10 str socket bonus, so 351 str with a Bold gem. In addition to this, it has 194 mastery.

What do you think?
At the moment I have Fury of Angerfore, Impatience of the Youth and Volatile Alchemist Stone to pick from. The passive str from the stone seems more attractive to me than the passive mastery from IofY.
I'm pretty sure Fury of Angerforge and Heart of rage are the way to go. 3rd place goes to License to Slay.
License to slay + DMC:Hurricance. heart of rage is not good for over expertise (if u dont get it enough,, then u can searching for HoR).
FoA - is trinket having a bit to hard for managing through a whole fight. I guess DMC:Hurricane gives more averaged overall dps at most fights.
I get dmg from hurricane for fight about 4-5% overall.
Well if you're running SMF instead of TG you don't have access to 456 expertise rating via double wielding Magmaw's mace or Cho'Galls Axe. Then your options are limited and unless you're willing to reforge almost everything to expertise instead of more instesting stats (crit/mastery)..
You want 780 expertise rating,
BoE Gun 78
VP Cloak 127
T11 Helmet 168
Council Gauntlets 108
Chimaeron Boots 149
Valiona Ring 127
all this together isn't enough (757).
Heart of Rage 321![]()
I don't understand what you see as being 'too hard' when using this trinket? It has a very specific cooldown so you should know exactly when you can use it. The only annoying part is building stacks initially (and the dragonkin is gay looking) but considering Fury threat problems I find it helpful to hold off on any cooldowns until FoA is available for use anyway (usually about 30-40 seconds after fight start) and then overlap them all.
Occasional DMC damage vs FoA powerful on-use str ability which can be overlapped with other cooldowns & procs... I tend to prefer FoA and paying attention to use timing.
The problem I have with FoA is I never know when it's up. It's not like it's deactived until you have enough stacks. It looks clickable. How do you guys manage that?
FoA and Liscense seem to be a great combination. A stacking str buff with hit and an on-use str buff with crit.
