No tanking ranged weapons?

Relics should double as throwing weapons. Sure, they might be items of great religious significance to druids and paladins, but to warriors and rogues they are just heavy lumps of metal to chuck at people

Well warriors use them to pull stuff now and again. (It's sometimes better to first pull with anything and interrupt the bad cast with heroic throw, if it's a caster mob who is not casting continuously and probably would just stop running to you the other way round.) Or while mobs are flying around to hit them at all. But yes, it's mostly a chunk of metal or wood we carry around.
