Maloriak 25man Guide.
A bit sluggish, but I'll try to work on it when I find map of his room
Maloriak has 3 abilities he will cast during the entire fight on a timer.
Arcane Storm (Channeling) - Must be interrupted asap every single time! !Note! He casts it during the Green Vial phase and since everybody takes 100% extra damage during that phase it's very important to be interrupted before it kills somebody or ooms the healers.
Release Aberrations - He will cast 6 times per rotation(blue/red/green vial). Every successful cast will spawn 3 adds. Maloriak has 20 adds total and we must control the spawns. Every rotation the first 2 casts must be interrupted, then the next 3 must be casted and the last one which will be right after the Green Vial phase starts MUST be interrupted. Ignoring the last cast might result in a wipe. It is very important to interrupt the cast on the second green vial phase or he will summon the Prime Subjects. The best tactic for this is to have 2 tanks tanking the adds, 4(5) on the left side and 5(4) on the right side since adds buff eachother and the boss with Growth Catalyst. When he enters p2 he will spawn all remaining adds so we must have only the 2 prime subjects left up at this point.
Remedy (Magic) - This must be spellstollen or dispelled as soon as possible.
Phase 1 (100%-20%) - Red/Blue/Green Vial. He runs to his Cauldren and put a red/blue or green vial and gain different abilities according to the colour. He will use 1 of each with red and blue being randomly selected and green always being third. He will do the entire rotation 2 times at which point you must bring him down to 28-30% right before the second green vial.
Red Vial: Everyone stacks behind the tank. Maloriak will cast Consuming Flames on 1 target and that person runs away from the raid to the side, so he doesn't get hit by any other abilities untill the debuff is clear. He might cast it more then once per Red Vial phase. Tanks have some major cooldown ready if the debuff is on you. He also casts Scorching Blast 3 times every Red Vial phase.
Blue Vial: Everyone spreads at least 10 yards apart for Flash Freeze and the nearest ranged dps will break the ice block after the frozen person is healed to full health. He also casts Biting Chill, so any melee that gets it must run away from the raid. It has only 8 yards radius, so don't overdo it.
Green Vial: He casts Debilitating Slime at which point everybody must AoE the adds down. Be careful not to overaggro the adds if you are in melee range, so you don't take unnecessary damage. During that phase we must have 2 dedicated interrupters on the boss.
Phase 2 (20%-0%)
This is a zerg phase... if p1 is executed correctly he will spawn the final 2 adds that must be kited. They Fixate on random player and he must run away from them untill they fixate on somebody else... they are not particularly deadly but still if you don't run away from them eventualy they will kill you. These adds also have the Growth Catalyst so when you kite them try not to get them near the boss.
Maloriak will gain 3 new abilities in this phase: Magma Jets, Absolute Zero and Acid Nova. Just avoid them and dps as hard as you can without tunnelvisioning

So does Flash Freeze not target the melee? Otherwise, shouldnt they already be spread out?

So far I've only seen it on ranged, and it would make sence to be only on ranged, since the hp of the tomb is trivial and even one Whirlwind will break it meaning almost instant death to the person tombed, and even if it's casted on melee it has 0y aoe range, so simply don't stand on top of eachother...
We are doing him on sunday, so I'll update the guide with map and better positioning monday.
And also mind that most of the guide is writen around the tooltips in wowhead, so any mistake in their info is a mistake in my guide.
