Guild names change into RECRUIT OF .....

why does, when you see the guild names above people's heads, now since cata sometimes you see the name recruit of ... ????

I believe it's related to the whole Guild Rep/Exp thing. It was kind of fun in ToT last night to see our GM with Recruit of ... over her toon's head...if only I could find a way to make it say Noob of....

It's a NEW OPTION in your interface menu.

Go to the menu, and then Interface. Under 'names' you have options to show guild tags, which has an option to show guild rank. Un-check it and it will stop listing their guild rank.
