Theres nothing to do at work so I was searching wowhead for some protection warrior loot. It doesn't include BoE but anything else should be in place. All items start with 316 ilvl except ranged since we dont have many options for that atm. If you have something to add feel free to post, I'll include it in main post.

Awsome list.
http://www.wowhead.com/item=56219 is a 333 tank back that drops randomly in Grim normal.
http://www.wowhead.com/item=55881 is a 333 tank trinket that random drops in Lost City normal.

Great list but thought I'd point out a small issue.
A couple of the BS crafted pieces require Chaos Orbs which are a BoP item that only drops in Heroics. Until they relent and move them to BoE we're stuck treating those as pre-raid pieces not pre-heroic. This specifically effects the chest, waist and shield recommendations.
If I'm mistaken please correct me 'cause I'd love to be chasing those pieces first.
Again, great list otherwise! I've got it printed and am plotting my goals right now.
While those pieces do require an orb to craft, they (they being the items themselves) are BoE. You do have the option as a fresh 85 of purchasing them via the AH or if you can find a blacksmith with orbs. Since they are obtainable without doing heroics yourself, I'd say they qualify as pre heroic gear. Now - if they were BoP when crafted that would be a different story.Originally Posted by WildBil

Looks like we'll have to go back to the BC model of crafting where we paid people for their Nethers. I really hope Blizz changes their stance on this.
I figured I was missing something and that is exactly it. I hadn't considered that the items themselves were BoE.

I would add Belt of the Ferociuous Wolf to the list even if it's a DPS item it's quite similar to the BS craftable with some reforging and use of it's socket.

I totally forgot about runeforging. Looks like any dps piece with mastery on it can be runeforged to be a 'threat piece' in a pinch. Especially when an epic of any kind if going to be rare.

This is a great list Thanks. However I didn't see any relics listed which are important to some classes. I did see Ranged weapons listed which are good for warriors but relics are important for Paladins, DK's and Druids I believe.

Ok I looked up the Pre-raid list and saw a relic listed that is crafted by scribes. The Pre-raid list also has a heroic item listed but since this list is for pre-heroics I'll borrow this item
