    It's only 5% for Protection
Comes out to 8.8% of your HP with Field Dressing and the Glyph.

    ICC Zone buff
I also forgot about that, but it still doesn't add up.
    90K HP + Field Dressing + Glyph + ICC buff = 10962 heal

Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with the software.

It's 20% when you don't spec into impending victory. Each death (friend or foe) caused by damage you deal, resets the cooldown.

I completely misunderstood your original post in this thread.

Here's a big daddy point for this thread:

If you want to compile a list of cooldowns in one place for reference, you'll want to set a threshold of what will be considered appropriate for your list (i.e. buttons you have to press?) and include all the relevant details of using them: cost, scale, etc.

If you want to compare the classes for survivability, you need to include the whole picture, not just CDs: armor, stance reduction, avoidance, block, mastery, health, CDs, talent/class mechanics, etc.

There is a lot more to the picture than cherry picked abilities, and it is a mistake to assume that classes are balanced to literally by ability to ability. Some will be matched, like the core defensive CD (Shield Wall, Icebound Fortitude, Guardian of Ancient Kings/Divine Protection, Barkskin/Survival Instincts), and only roughly to provide the right level of burst coverage to make each tank suitable for period encounters. Other abilities will not be matched even if you think they looks similar (i.e. Block is not balanced to equate to Life Shield or Savage Defense).

Yeah, I agree with Satorri that comparing class abilities like that is awfully complicated, and not really useful.

On the other side, knowing what my other tanks can do never hurt me.

You Spell Reflect haters are nonsense. It might not be the game-saver (in WotLK) against those big mean raid boss hits, but I am in mad geeky love with that ability. On trash, in 5-mans, oh man, I abuse the heck out of that button. SCT makes me giggle when I hit it and see "Reflect (9954)" on multiple casters at once. Spell Reflect is a frequently under-used and awesome ability.

Just because it won't do you any good when Sindy tries to blow your house down does NOT mean it is somehow worthless or without application. >.<

    Spell reflect Lich Slap.

That is single-handedly the reason spell reflect is awesome.

Don't forget tanking Mimi's head robot with spell reflect, that was a neato trick.

Does spec'in into impending victory only make it 5% when it procs from devastate? or does it make all forms of victory rush 5% healing?

It was my understanding that if it proc'd from a mob killing blow then it healed for the full amount.

oh don't get me wrong, i use it all the time, on lich slap, on 5 mans, and on all sorts of trash, but are we comparing useful cooldowns for bosses? or all cooldowns? or what. Cuz aside from trash, and 1 or 2 gimmicky fights, to call it a "useful" cooldown is misleading.
