    Warrior DPS - Raiding @ Level 80 post 4.0.1

    Howdy folks,

Not sure if this has been covered or if this is posted in the correct spot but:

4.0.1 is here, and all of the changes to the way warriors work will be in effect as soon as servers are up. But, we have 2 more months before the sundering and all that jazz... My question is, has anyone done any looking into warrior dps and how builds and rotations should be used in ICC at level 80? Is fury still the way to go? Are there any builds that seem to hold up? Are there new priorities on ability uses?

Personally I dont think fury was ever the way you where required to go in icc as a tank there where few times when i was required to dps however when i did i held my own at 7k dps with a 5.4k gearscore on the bosses for the most part trash however i would pull far less than the fury warriors due to my lack of WW and only having BS, SS, and Cleave for multitarget dps. So yes you could say an arms warrior is more of a single target spec it can be an applicable raiding spec after all it provides some unique debuffs to the bosses from bleed effects.

the bleed isn't unique as it's shared with cats and a certain spec of rogue.

the warrior bleed effects have always at least stacked with the cats and as for rouge thier bleeds are very different and do not give the boss a debuff that benifits the raid

Pretty sure he didn't mean the bleeds but the bleed debuffs
Druid Mangle (+30% bleed damage) http://www.wowhead.com/spell=33876
Arms Warrior Trauma (+30% bleed damage) http://www.wowhead.com/spell=46857

For 3.3.5 you're wrong. A check of WoL would have confirmed this easily. Just because you are better than the guys you run with, or the guy you saw was amazing doesn't make it true. However, now that it's 4.0.1, we'll find out what is new.
