Tankadin Threat problems...

Well, i have try all and i think the spec i have the one 5-55-11 is really decent threat spec.. But i never experience much threat problem but on my new guild i'm experience special in Halion 25 heroic on boss and living infernal since the pull is with hero even with hot md having threat problem. My question is:

The threat from a pala comes from spell a retri cause it was more spell damage produces more threat then a paladin. The 60% streangh converting in spell to be honest i dont think is enough considering a few fight. special this one cause well geared dps can put up to tps easy. That for a pala do top that only with wings on...

I have seen a few palas with icc10 lootship heroic 1h axe, speed 2.60... Is this the way to go if u want to do nice threat?

I never saw anyone talking about +spellpower on 1h for a pala tank. Isn't this good considering threath comes from spelldamage or even using a spelldamage weapon that normal have high speed 2.6?

Please dont flame im dont the rotaction perfect holy-shield always up, concengration always down, and spwaming special like a mad man.

Is because my shield doesnt have block value, know strenght gives also, but would it help bosting the damage from shield of rightneous?

Please comment on u think the spec is wrong or glyph or... please advice thanks.

PS. the Glyph im using atm of hammer and not the experties one but normally use the Glyph seal of vengeance have one on bags when need.

For tanking use a macro that for a sequence instance hit all key with snowfall installed. Keyboard macro not ingame macro. So always every this is up / used

You're going to want to read through this thread, because you're a bit off on some basic concepts.

The cookie-cutter build is this one; 3/5 Reckoning instead of DS/DG would be more threat but isn't necessary. If you want to read up on why the spec is cookie cutter, that information is here.

I really, really wouldn't recommend using a macro. Your core rotation is 5 abilities and isn't difficult to learn.

Weapon damage is important too, seeing that Seal of Vengeance scales with weapon damage

A couple of extra points (I was in a rush with the last post).

A 2.6 DPS weapon is an excellent choice for threat, and can certainly be used on farm content to push TPS and DPS.

Your abilities, while holy damage, scale better with AP than SP (your best threat stats are expertise, hit and strength, not spellpower; see previously linked thread for details and calculations). Spellpower enchants are not great for threat.

You're having threat issues because you are specced sub-optimally (again, see previous post for links) but more importantly you are definitely not doing your rotation correctly, despite your assertion that you are. I've taken a quick look through some logs of you tanking here and you aren't executing your rotation correctly at all. Re-read the relevant threads - you want to alternate a 6 second ability (ShoR, HotR) with a 9 second ability (HS, Judgement, Cons) indefinitely.

The macro is use to have holy shield 100% of the fight up. Not for the specials..Dont think that keyboard macro is the problem swifty uses a few for pvp...

But will read and try that spec but why not get seal of the pure?

check this log the frist fight 4-5 frist try was tanking Halion. On that log u wasnt mt so no point of doing the perfect rotation. Just hug the other tank

A properly executed rotation will have 100% holy shield uptime. If you read the thread on maintankadin you will see the math behind it, but seals of the pure is less threat than the other options in the ret tree.

Here is a little snip of the log you linked. The 969 rotation is called that because you should always be alternating a six second CD ability (HoTR and ShoR) with a nine second ability (Judgement, holy shield, and Consecrate). Alternating sixes and nines naturally flows into a rotation that will have 100% holy shield uptime, and you will have an ability to use every GCD. Any time you use two 6s or two 9s next to eachother, you've messed up the rotation and aren't building as much threat as you could be. I've added the CD (6 or 9) at the end of each ability to help you see it more clearly. You start out with the first few fine, and then it breaks down.

Well just did another respect and have to confess that after long reading... Only have try on a dungeon and on boss able to put easy 10-12k tps something that i normally used to kill myself for reaching that :\

Just need to test on 25 raids.
