Another Fury warrior in search of raid DPS halp!

So here comes another fool in search of fury help!

Basically, having done my rounds with Arms and our fury warrior leaving, i've now been given Fury dutys. HOORAH. But it seems that my DPS is greatley lacking in the...er....DPS garden?

Generally im informed that a Fury warriors DPS should be about 12k if not more on a single target. Well at the moment im pulling 8-9k :/ which is a bit dissapointing if you ask me! I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction as i can't help but feel i'm doing something wrong. I mean for starters our fury warrior was hitting for 15k, admittedly Arp hard capped, but still!

Current rotation is as follows - BT/HS cast macro, Whirlwind/HS cast macro, Slam when it procs.....and when everythings sat on cooldown/not procced - head into battle stance and put rend up. Execute is also used as a rage dump when it also procs

Right away:

Castlebreaker's chest is probably going to be a DPS increase
Agility Ashen Verdit Ring (more item points, makes up the difference between Agi/Str)
Agility Triumph Ring (ArP)
Leather 264 Emblem Belt (Noose) > Str Plate version
Tier should be Head, SHoulders, CHest, Legs, with Castle Breakers Gauntlets as pre-Heroic BiS.

Don't gem +X/+Sta. Miss the socket bonus

Check Landsoul's. Banner of Victory might be better than Mirror for you.

Take 2 points out of UA and put them in Commanding Presence.

Do you stance dance to work in Rend? You might be better off with Glyph of Execute if you use Execute.

I'd take 2 point out of charge and put them in the stun reducer. Minor, but get you back DPSing slight bit earlier.

Whisperfang Skull and Deathbringer's Will FTW Also, probably a number of neck upgrades available too. That will help you bleed hit you don't need.

Macroing HS is the WORST THING EVAR you will do as a fury DPS. You can hit HS many more time than you use other abilities. Learn to use HS efficiently and you will see a bigger dps boost.

Oh really? i'll try giving it a shot without. Generally i just mashed my 1 + 2 Keys where the macros were so that HS was kept up...ut i'll see if i can do any difference without it macroed.

True story, I like to tell people that 80% of Fury dps is Rage management even 1 2.5sec wait for a swing is a Dps loss, if you rage starve yourself

As stated before you want your Tier pieces to be Helm/shoulders/chest/legs Get the Gatecrasher Gauntlets from the frost vendor to replace the tier

My Suggestion, get the Banner of Victory from ToC5man and replace your Runestone, your ArP is so high now you don't need the proc on it(I cried a little when i replaced my Runestone with the banner, but it was a dps increase) with that you'll be at ~90% ArP with food should be around ~96% Which is one upgrade away from hard capped.

in conclusion my advice would be to spend sometime working on your rotation because that sounds like the root of your problem.
