So I'm getting the point that I'm finally upgrading my OS but looking at the hit I'm losing (right now I"m at 164), I'm starting to look at where to get it back. Obviously this is only a band-aid until I get more passive ArP on gear.

(Please, I know I have a lot of Exp, I'm trying to get rid of it, it's OS so options aren't always abudent)

Non-ArP enchants seems to be a better option than replacing ArP gems option with +20 hit on hands and +12 hit on feet. Both give up only a small amount of AP, so it's easily worth it.

Food is still ArP as I'm not quite to the cap even with it, but only 30 away I think.

The other enchant I have a question about:

And then, would it be better to gem 2 slots hit and eat ArP food (I would think since it would help for dailies) or 2 slots for ArP and eat hit food?

When I got round to upgrading my offspec gear, I discovered I had over 400 frost badges and some tier tokens as well - perhaps there's some good upgrades to be found there. In my case, the tier bonuses were good enough to skip 277 gear for 264 gear and still be better off.

It's not so much the items, I'm fairly limited in the items for the most part to frost gear as ICC25+ drops are rare as I'm still MT (usually) for the guild.

Right now I"m at the point that the gear I'm dropping is what's keeping me at 163 hit and I'm still not at ArP cap so if I drop the 251s for 264s I'll gain some ArP, but not always equal to the amount of hit I lose.

So I'm looking for places where I can trade things other than ArP for Hit, so I can stay at 164 hit and still work toward 1400 ArP. Once I hit 1400 ArP with only some gems needed it's a moot point, but right now I'm looking for any hit I can find that doesn't cost me ArP.

[Passive]

1. A hit trinket. Flame leviathan 10 man, emblems of triumph or emblems of frost. I certainly wouldn't buy the emblem of frost hit trinket cos its a massive waste of emblems but you can farm emblems for the triumph one.

2. Do gunship 10 on heroic mode and get an ArP/hit belt, which is awesome.

3. Enchant 20 hit on your gloves, the trade off for 44 AP is probably a lot better than trading a 20 ArP gem for 20 hit.

4. Theres a agi/hit/arp ring from ToC10 hc which you could replace Dexterous with. It also has a gem slot to boot.

5. ToC10 hc also has a bow with hit and arp, and a gem slot.

6. The gunship heroic tank ring with hit and a 30 stam gem in is practically the same as the Ashen Verdict tanking ring. If you feel you can drop the awful armor proc from that, and you don't long for shiny 277s then get the gunship hc ring and get the Ashen Verdict dps ring.

7. Accept that you're not going to stay hit capped if you don't have access to the gear with hit/arp, without gemming or enchanting some pieces for hit.

Edit: One more thing, demand a draenei group! Then you only need 130 hit if I remember correctly.
