Well, I am raiding now, and the heroic tank hands from blood council droped, I curently use the frost one, should I consider picking them up, dispite the lack of armor?

You should probably consider it but dont use for most of the progression fights. Besides you will want to be using the tier gloves (264+) as one of the best pieces to make your 2 or 4 set

Here is a comparison of the competition ( i included 264 tier and 277 as it seems you have access to 277 but you at least can get 264 )

Really you are Gaining 20 Stam and Avoidance for giving up nearly 1K armor Keep the gloves for magic fights where Armor means nothing otherwise keep the krakens

Use the 277 for Lich King H, and the bonus armor pieces for everything else.
