Holy Pally Help: Quick Question On Gear.

After reading the great sticky set up for new pallys, like myself, I have no doubt in my mind that i want to choose haste over crit.

Now, the question is- Mail or Plate.
I am looking to craft a breastplate, found in toc.

My two options are

Ive been told many times that a hpally is to be immortal, and i should take the plate..
But the haste is much needed for me.

Pls help me, once and for all understand which is better.
I will be gemming Int.

For PvE don't worry too much about armor class. It's useful in some circumstances, and you should probably pass on cloth for a clothie or mail for a shammy (etc.) just to be fair, but if the stats are superior, use it. Very rarely will you be taking mitigatable physical damage, and even that won't be too hard to heal through (if clothies can survive it in cloth, you can too).

PvP is a different story but beyond the scope of this thread :-P
