    pre-ICC gear and stuff

Hello, my first post so apologies if this is not the correct forum.

Anyway, I have a level 80 paladin that I enjoy tanking with. Here is here armory page:

    http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...rne&cn=Tankizl

I won't say I am the best tank, but people generally compliment me on my abilities and I have tanked everything except Halls of Reflection Heroic (it says my gear is too low). My current gearscore is around 4300 if I recall correctly.

Basically, I would like it if someone pointed me in the direction of where to go in terms of gear pre-ICC. I have been grinding heroics like mad, getting my Emblems for Tier 9 gear and my 2 daily Frost Emblems. Are there any guides yet for aspiring, 10-man ICC tankadins?

Any help is appreciated, thanks a bunch

Hi! New here myself, and also a tank who just recently started the gearing process ( on a warrior).

Best way to being the gearing process for me was farming the normal mode ICC 5 mans, most notably Halls of Reflection for the shield (http://www.wowhead.com/item=49835) and cape (http://www.wowhead.com/item=49832) drops, as I found those to be the hardest spots to fill. Normal Forge of Souls also has a nice pair of boots (http://www.wowhead.com/item=49795), and the runs give badge of triumph's which is kinda like killing two birds with one stone.

Crafting wise there are also Saronite Swordbreakers (http://www.wowhead.com/item=47570). The nice part about the white knight / Saronite Swordbreakers in terms of craftables is that they will last you into at least the early stage of ICC, or in the case of my guildies at least, they have. From there on out it's been random heroics for hours on end to finish up every last bit of gear I could get my hands on.

Hope at least some of the info was a bit of help!

There is a thread on this site by Tankertots that is for gearing your tank in the LFD. Take a look at that. I suspect it is what you are looking for.
