Clearly is an end-game progression group composed of experienced leaders, officers, & raiders.
We raid 3 nights a week:
Monday: 9:00 - 12:00 ST (PST)
Wednesday: 9:00 - 12:00 ST (PST)
Thursday: 9:00 - 12:00 ST (PST)
While it is clear that skill does trump gear, take note that gear is also a very important factor in the application process.
That being said there are also other specifications we expect to see in our Members & Applicants:
Ability to Listen and Follow Instructions
It is critical for the cohesion of the raid that all members follow the instructions from the raid leader during a raid. Be it to stand in a position, take a certain role, change equipment or talents. Raid time is not vote time, the best time to address a concern for discussion is before or after a raid via the member forums or guild vent. Giving suggestions about strategy regarding a fight is accepted and taken into consideration, however refusal to follow instructions or trying to become a second raid leader is not. This is especially important from applicants, as bad behavior only lets us assume this is how you will behave would you be accepted.
Communication & Dedication
Communication is non-negotioable, Clearly will be built upon a firm belief that real life is greater than the World of Warcraft. Applicants and Members alike are expected to inform guildmates of events they are aware of well ahead of time so that suitable adjustments can be made to accommodate seamless raiding and PvE Progression. The continual mysterious disappearance and reappearance of an Applicant(s) or Member(s) will not be tolerated and will result in penalization and or removal from Clearly.
Itemization & Specialization
A key component of being a productive member of an raiding guild is the knowledge base you bring with you to play the game. Applicants will be expected to have a significant understanding of the options and fuctionality that their class offers to the raid. Wether it be an adjustment of talent points or equipment selection, applicants will be challenged to maximize their performance and then improve upon it constantly. You will be required to know the optimal spec for your class and role, and may be asked by the Raid Leader to re-specialize if they are not optimized, however you wont be asked to change from one role to an other (ie. dps to healing).
<Clearly> is a loot council guild and loot is determined by a council which mainly applies to our 25 man runs. A council of 3 members determines loot based on an APA system (attendance/performance/attitude).
