I wanted to let the community know that we now support the popular Tapatalk iPhone/Android app. This makes browsing the forums on the go much easier, with intuitive formatting and posting functionality. I've included their guide past the break for those interested in learning more (click the "Continue Reading" link).

Tapatalk is a mobile forum app for iPhone / Android and soon to be on Blackberry and Nokia. Tapatalk supports vBulletin (3.x and 4.x) and phpBB forums and forum owner can activate this service for free. Tapatalk supports all the usual forum functions plus full screen image viewing, image upload, caching (less reload), private messaging, all these features are accessible in just a few simple taps.

btw, if you want to be able to reply via Taptatalk, you need to buy the app. The free version allows you to view the site just fine though.

Update, update, update... the plugin!

Plugin works just fine on my IPhone. Not sure what you need to update.

Android Tapatalk says the plugin is way beyond obsolete and it shows: while You can see the last page of thread, the previous pages are often empty - just like that, and You can't access Your own posts cause it says: "can't connect".

Aaaah, see, I have the Iphone version and it's just fine, and no glitches. Will bring it up to the admin.

Tapatalk went under and upgrade recently for the Android version, so some changes may need to happen. Possible that Tankspot will have to pay to upgrade IIRC.

Some users are saying they have no problems with version 1.5.5 of the Android Tapatalk app.

Again, will look into it and let you know what is going on.

I get errors on both the Ipad2 version of tapatalk and the android version on my phone. Both say the tank spot plugin is outdated, and needs to be updated. They won't even allow login anymore since version 2 came out.On our website (http://www.gowgaming.com) we have had to update the plugin with every release.

Yeah, same for me: it finally stopped working, can't even log in with tapatalk, cause it displays an error. Too bad, cause been using tapatalk to read tankspot forums a lot.
