New Warrior, Wants to Tank

So, I'm new to this whole "tank" and "warrior" mumbo jumbo.

What's the best spec for warriors to tank in?

And, someone mind running over the whole...tanking system for me? Or at least giving me some helpful tips?

Don't really know what you mean by "mumbo jumbo." You might want to be more specific. anyone in here could write books on tanking. If you're interested in tanking start with the "Tankspot's Prot Warrior Guide" in the guide section of the website. After watching that come back with some more specific questions and then it will be easier than just explaining absoutely everything.

I'm leveling as a tank. Figured it'd be better to do than just level then jump to tank. I'd like to get my barrings and get familiar with the class and responsibilities.

And I'll check out that prot guide. Once I get a bit more educated, I'll come back with better questions.

If you need a quick start, get to the Gear and Enchanting Forum and click on the sticky "Agg's Prot Warr Guide". Most of that will get you in the right direction.
