Raid buffs that slow Speed (haste)

Don't know why but I just noticed, yesterday, that some buffs (and I can't figure out which one-s) are taking my speed from 3.28 to 2.52

so I want to ask if that hurts my DPS potential, I can't help but think it does hurt - also, since I got the Blade Scoroled Carapce and then the Death Speaker Zealot's helm my speed went down too, so I switched back to the Razorplate chest (until I get the 95 frost one) and Faceplate of trembling rage and got my speed back to 3.28. Furthermore, I noticed that at the current gear set I have on, an ything I add with haste rating, slows the speed down, which is making me leery of the Vengeful Noose.

So question is - speed going down, bad? Which buffs (and I think they are shammy totems) are slowing me down and can I realistically have a shammy stop using those in a 10 man?

Mate , your weapon speed isnt going "down" or getting reduced , it's being increased by a Shaman Windfury totem ( http://www.wowhead.com/spell=8512 ) , the lower speed that shown is - the faster your swings are. For example a dagger with weapon speed of 2.8 is way slower than a dagger with weapon speed 1.8. The faster the swings are - the more dps you can output even from your auto-attacks. So dont worry bout it , It's helping you.Go p3w p3w :]
The chest is giving you haste rating = faster swings. http://www.wowwiki.com/Haste

The number given is seconds between swings. Lower is more swings.

So, weapon speed on 2 handers that I dual wield - the 3.40 is slower than a 3.20?

I didn't really see on the wiki how the speed being a higher number is slower than lower speed. I always looked at the "melee stats" speed as being the higher the better, but I guess if I am going from 3.28 to 2.52 that's good. I must watch cloer then because I noticed my icons going slower, damage getting lower, etc

Haste = good for rage generation. The only reason for your icons to go slower is a debuff from a boss or enemy (ie. Lady Deathwhisper and Curse of Topor.)
