Stance switching. When and between what

Because Shattering Throw requires 25 rage it takes a second to pull off after a stance swap so wouldn't this be better for a macro?

/cast Defensive Stance

is better. You can charge in to get the rage. Also remember that stances are on a different GCD then regular abilities, not to mention with your macro you would need a cast sequenceto make sure it all happens when it's supposed to.. The above macro eliminates the confusion.
