Oi peeps ! Imma rollin arenas with mah holmes Enhancement sham n I have sum questions,generally just what u thinks :]
I love prot pvp , its like best think I tried out yet in-game,just wanna roll with what i rly love - not with a faceroll arms/resto setup. Bettah get racerolled with mah buddy n spec I love than hit 2k rating with sum random turd I dont know n spec i dont rly enjoy ( *cough* ROFLSTORM FTW! - cant argue with dat ).

Oke , so here me goes >.>

Main thang be da stats I shuld prefer over any else.
Im lost between BV,STR,CR,RESI >.> Im not rly sure how to get that balance between these thangs.
And ye , if ya have a minute plx explain me tha stuff about BV benefiting my shield slam , cuz i read every forum and still dont get it if it has da cap benefiting my shield slam , and if Shield Block benefits it after cap ( if there is such <.< ) Too much dif opinions ...
Basically im rolling prot for the control on ppl while my boi nukes out teh shit out o dem nubs - stunned/silenced/feared/disarmed n so on peeps cant do notin than just die eh! And Enhancement shams have rly huge burst + purge on priests,BL n tots halp out :]
Dont mind u posting me specces u think wuld be best for this setup , thou I have myne i love - still will enjoy lookin dem things up , maybe will find out smt even better :>

Get as much arpen, strength and crit as possible.

The top 2700-2800 prot wars have like 280 resilience.

Thats where im lost , i can go full pvp gear wich has a lot of CR/STR + stam/resi ( well ,as prot dont rly care bout it , only against frost mages ... damn theyre annoying >.> ) But then i wont rly have high BV :S
If i roll with PVE gear , ill have huge BV , but with prot spec the avoidance that PVE gear gives me looks useless compared to crapload of Crit from pvp gear.

I have like 1800 block value just using full 251-264 str/crit/arpen wrathful gear and heroic offsets from ICC.

With blessing of kings that's I think 1900, which is almost at the cap.

A devastate with a 264 one hander and DPS gear does more damage than a 1900 block value shield slam btw, course, you still want to shieldblock-slam or use a free shield slam from sword and board.

Slow DPS one-hander, a good mix of PvE DPS gear with ArPen and some PvP gear (don't overdo it). Block value is a very weak stat in comparison to ArPen or even strength, generally don't bother with it.

Devastate will easily hit harder than shield slam, so shield slam only with shield block up or to dispell stuff.

block value doesn't really matter any more. it used to, when it scaled better with shield slam. now, not so much.
