Enhance shaman seeking dps advise

I've recently started playing on my shaman in a new guild, but dps seems very low. I've no idea what i'm doing wrong.

thats what my guild leader is telling me... I really have no idea what to do

I appaer to be lowest in dps meter and i'm not as geared as other people

Your guild leader is wrong. Your a hybrid class, and by design you are not supposed to be the best at everything, but rather good at everything, and you bring much needed tools to the raid. If you are ever out damaging a true DPS class (mages, hunters, rogues) then your guild leader needs to be looking at them. Looking at your armory, and your DPS meters, you are dead on and doing exactly what your should be doing.

This. You are not a rogue, and will not be pulling rogue numbers. Of course we all have room for improvement and you should always be on the lookout for ways to improve your playing, whether it be moving more efficiently or your rotation or something, but 9k is not bad by any means, especially not when you are outgeared by the other DPS in the raid.
