The Wintergrasp change is not a change.
The balancing system is already in the live game, and has been there for quite a while. I know this since, as an alliance player on my server, Wintergrasp is ours... once a week, at best. Invariably, when I enter a battle that has only just started, all vehicle factories belong to the alliance, and a single honor kill will get each and every one of us to drive any vehicle we so wish. Of course, this doesn't prevent us from losing after a grueling twenty-minute slaughter, but! - the system does what Zarhym explains.
The only change pertains to the shift of balance... it now does not shift at the first, but only at the second successful defense in succession.
Thanks for the good laughs and the useful information. You explain things well. Looking forward to the patch. And it looks like your possible theory (from a couple of weeks ago) of another dungeon was spot on with the mention of the Ruby Sanctum coming in 3.3....5.

Also I have a question for you almighty WoW Guru. I know people hate comparing class tanks but I've noticed in server chat the call for specifically Druid or Pally tanks. Now I have a warrior tank and a pally tank (warrior is 5kGS / Pally 4.6) I personally have tanked the first two bosses in ICC 10 on the warrior without issue. Why would people call for specifically for a druid or pally ? Apart from buffs I can't see why a warrior would be left out in the cold.

I'll admit that initially I wasn't a fan of your weekly video Lore, but over the past few months it's become really entertaining and informative and I check it out as much as possible. Thanks for not just catering to a single type of WoW player and hitting everyone with a few things they care about pretty constantly. Keep up the good work, my only issue is that the Bear King pales in comparison to the horror that my guild experienced in our recent LK attempts!
