I generally like to use Guardian gems for red and Vivid for yellow when a nice stam bonus is involved, but most would probably recommend pure stamina.
Since it's 3 sockets you're not really get a +12 stam bonus (only 3 stam difference from gemming straight stam) what you're really getting is two +6 stam bonuses (which is an 18 stam difference). So... gem it with pure stam 3x30.
