I'm tanking in cloth, healers are complaning again!

Hey all,

Its me again!

Anyways last night's 25 man ICC run we did I noticed I was taking harder hits than usual, 8-10k easily and most of my healers complained that I was too squishy or its like my warrior is wearing cloth while tanking.

The only thing I have changed in my gearset that night was the new Ashen Verdict Tank Ring (Revered version) and my BP which is the Cataclymic Chestguard (Not enchanted yet, but it will be soon).

I do have the EoT Ring and the 10 TotC Valkrie Ring at my disposal and some other random useless junk..

I guess my question is should I be fixing up anything in my current gear setup? Things like Gems and enchants, equipment setups etc

The only other thing I would consider is a weapon with Blood Draining on it but I'm not to sure if its worth my time.

I will be honest. My opinion is tanks become a little squishy in ICC10 and 25. As a healer I find when watching a tank that they are taking bigger hits. Partially due to the debuff you get from entering ICC and other mechanics avoiding certain stats(aka sabrelash). Your gear looks ok, couple 232 pieces can be replaced with badge and toc25 gear but that comes without saying and time. I would tell your healers to stop complaining and realize what is going on with ICC.

The only change I would make is to drop the 2/3 Focused Rage for the extra minute off Shield Wall with 2/2 Improved Disciplines.
I went though the WOL reports of a guy I know a week or so ago. His worst gear is a few 251 pieces, similar with your 232 pieces. He's got gear coming out the wazoo, and makes me look like a total amateur. But I see he still gets hit for +6k in ICC10, and 11k in ICC25.. So I don't feel so bad, You shouldn't either.
People tend to forget that ICC isn't a random heroic.

tell your healers to stop complaining and realize what is going on with ICC.

Im not sure how much a smaller shield wall cooldown will help but I can imagine in the long run its very good, losing focused rage kinda sucks but I dont notice it that much in raids, perhaps in heroics I will.
