Paladin Tanking Gear/Talents
I want to start tanking high tier raids (if i don't get disconnected constantly when huge adds comes) but i'm not sure if my gear is qualified enough, especially for ICCs. I've tanked heroics instances before (including PoS, Fos, and HoR) and never had a problem. I know there are some gears i can get right away by tanking normal ICC dungeon (can't play wow till i get back from Thailand) like the shield and cloak. But for the other end items, I was wondering what items I can get for the time being until I'm able to do raids. I'm not going to lie, I'm fairly new to tanking , as my pally was a ret specs. I dual specs to prot/ret, did tanking and loved it ever since. I was a DPS and now changed it to Tanking. I've changed my talents, cut the Seal of Command talent(wondering if it's better to tank with SoCom or SoV). The very few times i've been able to tank raid, it was only 10m Onyxia.

You are on your way to being a great tank. I feel, from looking at your armory, that you are not quite where you need to be for ICC. You need to get a few pieces of gear to increase your Effective Health.
You are however geared enough for ToC 10 man. I recommend trying your hand in there as you can benefit from the experience and gear. Most importantly a Shield off of Anub.
There are a few items that you can craft as well. The most important one being Bracers. The Belt I've linked isn't a huge upgrade but the extra stamina is nice.
There is also a pair of boots out of Heroic Forge of Souls if you can get them to drop.
Your trinkets, although decent, aren't the best one you can get. I would rather have the Black Heart out of regular ToC 5 man over both of those. If you can't get that, the Emblem of Frost tanking trinket offers more stamina but a less useful use ability. The other trinket should be replaced the the Emblem of Triumph tanking trinket. Those 2 trinkets will make a huge impact on your survivability in ICC.
Emblem of Triumph
Emblem of Frost
Last but not least the Emblem of Frost Tanking cloak is a great upgrade.
Now all these upgrades are not necessary but they will help your cause when you are trying to sell yourself as a Tank for ICC. You actually have the "gear score" to start in ICC but it would be difficult I can assure you. A few enchants on your current gear would give you a better shot. These are the ones I recommend:
As far as tanking specs go, yours looks solid. There are always a few points you can play around with but you have the basics down. For end game raiding Seal of Vengeance is better than Seal of Command. I've seen Seal of Command used in heroics but for single target Vengeance will win.
Thank you very much for the reply. I will try to get the shield and the boots from FoS. If I have enough money, i'll buy the two crafted items from the AH. But with the two frost emblem items, i only accumulated so much so far. I'm torn between the cloak or the trinket first. They both sounds very nice. On one hand if i get the trinket, that's like 2k+ HP it will give me. But the Cloak-with sockets- will probably give me some good stats also. Choices choices...
My only comments on your spec:
With the new content, 3/3 Crusade is actually better than 5/5 Seals of the Pure. I would suggest moving all 5 of those points + 2 out of reckoning (leaving 2) + 1 out of Spiritual Attunment (leaving 1), and put those into:
2/2 Vindication -- VERY good for tanking
Either 3/5 Conviction OR 1/5 Conviction + 2/2 PoJ -- which ever you prefer
That will be a slightly better threat build, at least for the new content, and is still very very competitive on everything else.
On Seal of Command:
SoV is indeed hands down the best for single target threat. On quickly killed trash packs, SoCommand works better, so having a point in it (out of conviction) isn't a bad thing. I don't run with it as I find SoV does sufficient threat on AoE, but it isn't a bad choice as long as you know when to use it (quickly dying trash for SoComm, SoV on bosses and long fights)
Also, spend the Triumph badges to get the SoV Strength libram. The Dodge libram is good for a couple of fights where survivability is really really necessary, but the STR libram is better for DPS and overall threat and is the better choice in most cases.
Probably the trinket first. The EH upgrade from that will be huge.
Once again thank you for the reply. I've got all the enchants like you told me to and it really help alot. I went with the cloak instead because i found out i only have so much. As for the trinkets, as you can see I switch to the Glyph of Indo and the Black Heart from nTOC. I've done a 2 boss in TOC10 so I couldn't get the shield, but I was able to get a new shield from HHOR. Now for the weapon enchant, I'm getting conflicting idea from which Mongoose, or blade ward.
I've redid my talents and put some here and some there, taking 1 point away from sprit of atun. However, i've noticing i have problems sometimes (lower level heroics) keeping up with mana. So i'll prob put the full 2 points back on.
Mongoose for a paladin. The proc rate is fantastic for us.
I think you made a good decision getting the cloak. I sincerely doubt that will get replaced until Cataclysm.
2/2 Spiritual Attunement will not help with mana issues in 5-mans. It only works off of effective healing, and you simply don't get hit hard enough in 5-mans for much of that to happen. Besides, I wouldn't gimp your spec by catering to 5-mans anyways - water is cheap and it only takes a few seconds of drinking to get back to full mana between pulls. You can also lay off the Consecrate when necessary.
I agree with everything Jere said about your spec, especially about speccing into Crusade and Vindication. However, I disagree about the strength libram - sure it's better for threat or DPS, however for tanking ICC (or any content that's difficult for you) you're going to be more worried about survival more likely than not. Even in ICC where avoidance is nothing to stack, a permanent 200 dodge rating is too much to ignore, especially compared to the alternatives (block value contributes little to your survival when tanking slow-hitting raid bosses, and strength obviously is a threat not a survival stat). So break out the strength one for old content, heroics, or when you're having threat issues in current content - but I would use the dodge one as your default for real raiding.
I will keep playing around and change my talents again and test out the threats and numbers. I was able to tank toc10s, ony, nax, ulduar, and icc10 to the battleship. Thank you for all the advice you guys have been given me. It helps a lot.
