I OT for my guild as our MT (also a paladin) has more experience and more HP. We both use identical rotations, which I shall post below. The MT doesn't seem to lose threat so much, and recovers it quickly when lost, whereas I lose threat much more easily and struggle to recover it sometimes. Whats going on? We discussed using SoV over SoW and decided to go with SoW as our threat is based on our holy spells, right? and mana regen means more holy spells, right? So my basic question is: why use SoV at all when you're just going to burn all your mana and be unable to cast. Also, If you were to use SoV, which blessing would go with that. We both use Grtr BoS for mana regen with SoW.
1. SoW doesn't generate any additional threat. SoW procs do not generate threat. The only mana regen that generates threat is Divine Plea. Everything else gives 0.
2. SoV is the seal you should use for bosses. If you have SoCommand, there is some merit for using that on short lived AoE packs, but you don't have to get it if you don't want to.
3. Your build isn't optimized for threat. You picked up benediction rather than Crusade. You wasted 3 points in stoicism but didn't pick up any points in Divine Strength. Those are your biggest no-nos
4. Can't see your glyphs, but one of them should be the Glyph of Seal of Vengeance if you aren't expertise capped at 56 expertise skill.
