Pillars VS Legguards of Lost Hope.

From a purely EH stand point I know the Pillars are King. I feel like they're a better overall choice, but I just wanted to get other peoples opinions before I dump the 8 primordials into these pants.

The Pillars of Might all the way, an 1,100 armor increase is simply too much to ignore. Plus all you gain from the Legguards is slightly more avoidance. Although I wouldn't pick up the Pillars before all of the other offset pieces since they offer close upgrades and don't cost any emblems.

I wear the pillars all the time, keep the Legs of Lost Hope in the bags for a possible hit/threat set. I certainly wouldn't DE them, but I can't see too many opportunities to use the LoLH.

Honestly, the extra armor is insanely powerfull. If I get them tonight, I'll make a comparison between the two in avoidance/armor/etc, and post it here.
(I'll do it during raid, so it shows most raid buffs.)

Having over 39k raid buffed armor in my armor set makes me feel like a bear. Except without savage defense and demo roar...qq

Right, here goes the comparison.
I'll be ignoring threat stats, focusing only on survival stats.
You can check my gear in my armory, I'll be sure to log in my raiding gear tonight.

These numbers are from a few minutes before pulling Marrowgar, I should have most longer lasting raid buffs, but no procs, armor potion or shorter duration buffs.

The pillars put me at 37958 armor (71.36% reduction) and 40.29% avoidance.
The legguards put me at 36768 armor (70.71% reduction) and 41.15% avoidance.

So, when swapping from the legguards to the pillars, I gained (100 x (1-(100-71.36)/(100-70.71))) = 2.22% effective armor reduction, but I lost ((100/(100-41.15) x (41.15-40.29) = 1.46% effective avoidance.

From a survival standpoint, there is no contest at all - the pillars are better.
