I have 2 warriors that are at lvls 70 and 42. I've respecced both, Makwa with a Arms DPS/ tank hybrid and Briheen as a Protection tank. Most of the posts I've seen on tank builds have been helpful, but mainly focus on the lvl 80 builds. I would like some advice on gear, glyphs, etc. for every 5 to 10 lvls and opinions on where the talent points could go. I've only tried Makwa out in the PVE areas and haven't yet gone back into an instance since I've reworked him trying to find some advice on under 80 warriors. Ok. Since no one is able to help give advice I am working on my 2 warriors on my alt server (Galakrond) with the same names. I'll be starting at lvl 20 with updates either every 5 lvls or 10 lvls, depending on feedback on which would be prefered. I might not have everything right or all of the possible gear, specs, etc so if Aggonoth or anyone else can add anything that was overlooked please add it.
Are you quitting your higher level characters because you weren't given a response within 45 minutes? I hope I'm reading that wrong..

I'm not sure you'll find much in terms of a leveling guide for tanking, short of a 70-80 loose guide, but I'll link what I can find.

That should cover glyphs/talents and some gearing, I know it's not all going to help you immediately but the majority of this site is aimed towards current end-game as it's where everyone will get to eventually.
No I'm not quiting with my 2 main warriors. Fortunately or unfortunately I have some extra time on my hands. :/ I just think it might be helpful for other players to have some ideas for lower level warriors. And thanks Guth for the links.
Side note the 2 warriors were started a few months ago when my main serfer was down.
You should further break down the thread. For spec, things get REALLY easy at 60, most 80 builds have X/X/51, so you would respec to that 51 point build. The other talents in arms/fury serve to increase your threat, with the exception of improved shouts in Fury.
However, leveling pre-60 is a bit awkward. Holding aggro is gonna suck, but you have to prioritize survival. Shield Specialization for first 5 points, then anticipation, then toughness, etc. and take threat talents to advance to other survival talents. By level 39, I'm thinking something like this. At 40, you start to get plate, and things get better, you might look at some threat talents.
If you have rage starvation issues, look at talents like Imp Blood rage, Puncture and Focused Rage.
Once you get the better talents like devastate, warbringer, and sword'n'board, you should get the hang of picking out talents.
Don't be afraid to take talents that are not optimal at 80. Regardless of what class and spec you play, you are expected to have a leveling spec, and respec at 60 or 70 or 80 (or a few times).
One thing I have come across in one guide is to look for equipment that is "_ of the Bear" which has stamina and strength. Some of the other "_of the _" is will also be beneficial. The pre-60 greens that can be easily got for a warrior should have this order of importance
1. _ of the Bear (stam/str)
2 or 3. _ of the Tiger (str/agility)
3 or 2. _ of the Monkey (stam/agility)
4 or 5. _ of the Whale (stam/ spirit)
5 or 4. _ of the Boar (str/spirit)
6. _ of the Wolf (agility/spirit)
If you're tanking randoms while leveling, the randomized equipment comes in the form of...
_ of the Soldier (Str/Stam/Crit)
_ of the Squire (Str/Stam/Hit)
_ of the Beast (Str/Agy/Stam)
_ of the Champion (Str/Stam/Def)
All of them would be good for a leveling prot warrior, with Soldier being the weakest of the bunch.

At 15: Minor (Bloodrage or Thunder Clap), Major (Sunder Armor/Resonating Power/Revenge)
At 20: Minor (Bloodrage or Thunder Clap), Major (Possible switch to Cleave)
At 30: Minor (Bloodrage or Thunder Clap), Major (Two of the above four, with Sunder Armor and Cleave being mutually exclusive due to rage issues)
At 40: Minor (Bloodrage or Thunder Clap), Major (Blocking), Major (One of the above four, I'd say an AoE choice is preferable)
At 50: Minor (Bloodrage), Minor (Thunder Clap), Major (Blocking), Major (Add Devastate to the choices)
At 70: Add Minor (Command or Charge)
At 80: Add an additional Major, adding Vigilance to the choices.
I prefer Devastate to Revenge, but prior to levels 70+, instances of low rage regeneration means that Revenge + Free Heroic Strike means a hell of a lot more threat per point of rage. Also, if you're going to level as Protection, I'd say keep two weapons on you. A fast one (1.9s or faster) for tanking instances, and a slow one (2.4s or slower) for questing, since damage dealt will be higher and threat won't matter as much. This assumes an ideal situation where you have two equal dps weapons with different speeds. Unless the DPS difference is minimal, use the higher dps weapon.
