crystal plated vanguard vs bulwark of the royal guard

Having a little trouble. I got the i245 Crystal plated vanguard

and am wondering if i should replace my i232 Bulwark of the Royal Guard

with a 30+ stam gem in it. I lose 28 stam (30 stam + 6 bonus versus increase of 8 stam). Gain 20 str and 349 armor .

Switch them out fight to fight, in pure physical burst like Marrowgar the 245 shield is worth a little more EH from the armor. At 90% physical burst they become equal, and at 80% physical burst which is Gormok the 232 shield becomes favorable. And on Saurfang and Gunship the Crystal Plated Vanguard is better.
