Wanna be warrior (tank)

Hi Folks

I hope this is the place to get serious help, cause I need it badly, I am totally confused as to which way to turn or what to do about getting the proper gear and training to be a decent tank for heroics. I am fairly new to MMOs and the answers I have gotten so far are smug to say the least, some down right hateful. That being said.


Could you folks please take a look at my gear and specs and give some guidance to a wary soul. All constructive crit will be received gracefully.

Your prot spec is a little weird. Look at some other specs.

Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft - Survivability
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft - Block

You have no prot glyphs. There are numerous glyphs that may work for you, although glyph of blocking is almost a necessity. I have been a healer for numerous years and tanking took a little practice to pick up. Do some heroics and things will likely get easier for you.

I have actually already made a copy for reading thanks it is great info for the uninformed and also easy to understand for folks that are new to this.
