Room for improvement?

Hello, my name is Cynsmite, and ive been tanking quite literally since the day BC came out (i switched to Horde, and rolled a BE pally). I often switch between being a MT and an OT for my guild, and I have had much success with my ability as a tank.

i was wearing my tank set recently, if not then im wearing my holy gear, yes i heal in my spare time. Any input would be greatly appreciated in terms of gear, glyphs and spec. For tanking my rotation consists of 1.Hand of Reckoning2.Avengers Shield 3.Seal of Wisdom/Light (depends on raiding or doing 5 mans) 4.Hammer of Righteous 5.Holy Shield 6.Shield of Righteous 7.Hammer of Wrath 8. Consecration 9.Holy Wrath. Also one last question, does anyone know a macro to figure out your diminishing returns, i have one that can figure your overall avoidance, and will gladly post it if anyone wants it, but a DR macro would be kind as well?

Wrong forum, it will probably be moved to the HALP! forum. I'm a warrior not a pally, so I gear like you but I don't know the rotations and such so I can't answer those.

As far as gearing improvements:
225 armor to cloak
Regem the chest to all +30 stam gems, enchant with 275 HPs
Weapon - Probably enchant with mongoose or blood draining
Trinkets: get another trinket besides ony blood talis. Glyph of Indom or the black heart are acceptable alternatives.
Legs - change the 10str/15 stam gem to a 10agi/15 stam gem.

Other than that gearing seems fairly decent.

Actually your glyphs need an overhaul.

Raid tanking must haves:
Glyph of Divine Plea -- Best damage reduction glyph
Glyph of Seal of Vengeance -- Best threat glyph (aside from AS) with survivability as well.

NO NO Glyphs:
Glyph of Consecration -- totally messes up an optimal rotation. You end up losing half your consecrations.

Fairly useless Glyphs:
Glyph of Spiritual Attunement -- useless for raids (ok for 5 mans)

You should be doing:
1. Glyph of Seal of Vengeance
2. Glyph of Divine Plea
3. Whatever you choose except for consecration

For seals, use Seal of Vengeance (Corruption for you horde peeps)

Rotation:
9sec cooldown (Judgement, Holy Shield, or Consecration)
6sec cooldown (Hammer of the Righteous or Shield of Righteousness)
9sec cooldown (Judgement, Holy Shield, or Consecration)
6sec cooldown (Hammer of the Righteous or Shield of Righteousness)
9sec cooldown (Judgement, Holy Shield, or Consecration)
6sec cooldown (Hammer of the Righteous or Shield of Righteousness)
9sec cooldown (Judgement, Holy Shield, or Consecration)
6sec cooldown (Hammer of the Righteous or Shield of Righteousness)
9sec cooldown (Judgement, Holy Shield, or Consecration)
6sec cooldown (Hammer of the Righteous or Shield of Righteousness)
and so on

Your spec is fine, though you might consider switching points out of Seals of the Pure and Divinity and putting them into Vindication ( a bid decrease in boss damage) and Crusade (which is better than Seals of the Pure in Icecrown).

Also, if you are going to pick up Divine Sacrifice, then go ahead an put two points in Divine Guardian (again, pull from Divinity or Seals of the Pure).

Keep the comments coming Oh yeah, for any pallies out there, i was thinking of switching out my Libram for the emblem of Triumph one, ill loose a fair share of block from the switch, is it worth it?
